This free online tool is designed specifically for professionals in the energy, pipeline, and IIoT sectors, offering real-time visibility into Alberta’s oilfield infrastructure. By combining geospatial data with advanced industrial monitoring technologies, the system enables operators to improve field efficiency, optimize asset performance, and proactively manage environmental and regulatory compliance.
How To Use
- Users can navigate the interactive Alberta oil wells map by panning and zooming to explore active and inactive wells across the province by zooming in which reveals individual well locations, while zooming out groups wells into clusters for easier viewing at a regional level.
- Filters at the top of the map allow users to refine results by Alberta Zones and Well Status, helping focus on specific areas or types of infrastructure. Display options can be adjusted to show individual wells, cluster zones, or cluster labels depending on the desired level of detail.
- Clicking on a well opens an information panel with key details such as the geospatial coordinates, operator, status of the well, and nearest well from the current view.
- Users can reset the map to its default view or refresh counts at any time to update results based on selected filters.
